my starter will not start my car after it sat for just a few minutes after it was running fine

I have a 2001 Toyota Camry it was running fine I went in a place left it running my mom turned it off. When I tried to start it would not.i had the battery checked and told it was fine also told alternator was good and connections tightened. Will not make any sound
