My partner has just recently bought a Suzuki swifft 2001 1.3 petrol (under 20,000 miles). Everything is ok with the car except one thing, the fans and heating. When the fans are turned on inside the car, all she gets is cold air blowing. This is no use to her in the current weather conditions, as her windows do not clear and this limits her visibility. Most recently she has been suffering these issues when she is driving and the windows begin to either ice or fog. She is a first time driver, so this is a big scare to her, especially when she has the kids in the car. I can fix basics, but I am at a loss as to how to go about repairing this issue. I have checked the fuses (both internally and under the bonnet.) and have replaced all fuses relating to the air conditioning, heating system and fans but still no joy. Has anyone suffered this issue with this car model as yet? And how did you get around it? I know it could be a number of things, but would like to know what the possibilities are so that I can run through them.
