Battery -- car won't start. Won't even crank

2001 Subuaru outback will not start. Engine turned over once, then nothing. May have left lights on overnight. Could it be the battery? I have had three thousand dollars of repairs done in past year; mileage is 238 k.

yes charhe the batt if will not charge replace the batt

Could be one of the following,the starter, starter relay,transmission position switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good.
