Put a new starter and starter fuse on car few months ago and has been running fine. Tried starting car yesterday, wouldn't start, made no noises. Noticed starter fuse was blown so I changed it. Tried starting again and same thing happened, fuse blown again. What's up with that? Would ignition have any thing to do with it? It won't turn sometimes. Key won't turn. Gotta mess with it a little, then will start fine.

Do you have a manual or automatic transmission? Also as far as the ket not turning sometimes that has nothing to do with blowing that fuse. Do you have a less worn key to try in the cylinder?
