Changed erg valve, transmission valve body, fluid, and filter. And still hard shifting in all gears. 2001 SL2. No engine lights on. And ideas?

Does the TCM reboot itself? Am I missing something? Please help!

The details above were cut off please rexplain them again? Also where did you get the valve body from? The adaptives will relearn after replacing the valve body. How many miles have you driven it after replacing the valve body?Do you have a transmission pressure gauge set? That would really help also so we could see what the pressures are doing. So does it shift hard when putting it in drive and then shifting thru all the gears? Also was the valve body complete you got that you put on?How was it shifting with the valve body that was on the car before you changed it?I need all the details I can get since I cant test drive the car myself or test or see anything.

I have changed the egr valve, valve body, fluid, and filter. No service engine lights on. Got part from transmission shop on eBay Motors. Have drove about 50 miles since replacing. Do not have gauge set. Every gear shifts hard but 3rd. Reverse was fine this morning but when left where I was shifted hard. Valve body was complete. Shifted very hard before. Reverse broke muffler holder. Shifted hard going thru all gears and shifted hard downshifting. Downshifting now is normal.

The only way to reset the adaptives on that year saturn that I know of is with a tech2 scan tool with the correct software. Also so you get a delay bang into reverse now?ALso do you get a delay bang into 2nd gear?We really need to look at all the pressures with a gauge what the pressure is in park with the line pressure fuse in and out?ALso what the pressure is with the line pressure fuse in and the car in reverse? Also if the pressure shoots straight up to max line pressure when shifted into reverse and doesnt delay low pressure then rise to full line pressure or less then full line pressure? Also what the pressure is with the fuse in and the car shifted into drive etc. ALso when the valve body is removed you should always air check all the clutches to make sure none of the clutch pistons are leaking? The pressure gauge set is pretty cheap for the one I have its a otc one and was under 60. ALso I learned the hard way buying valve bodies on ebay some say there reconditioned but are only taken apart cleaned actuators are ohms tested and then put back together.I had one that lasted two weeks then failed one that was bad out of the gate one that had a bad line pressure actuator right out of the box.I had four saturns that needed valve bodies at the same time my sister brother mine and a friend.I ended up finding a sonnax pressure regulator rebuilding tool kit on ebay used for a good price. Bought it and rebuilt the pressure regulator bores in all four valve bodies and finally success the cars shifted better then new. Could you please post the link to the ebay add you bought your valve body from for me to see what it says about it?Also did you torque the valve body to spec with the correct torque pattern when you replaced it?
