The horn blows, lights come on, no warning and never replaced timimg belt or timing chain? This car is well kept, and has given me no problems until now. It tries to connect with a start but will not. What can be the problem?

Just to add to this one check and see if you have spark if you dont its most likely a bad crank shaf posiion sensor which is really common that car. Also if you have spark its most likely a bad coolant temp sensor really common on those. Also any codes?Do you have a multimeter to do some testing? If it has spark try holding the gas pedal all the way to the floor while trying to start it and see if it starts.
