Car jumps sometimes when shifting into gear and noticed some smoke.

Just bought the vehicle had a hose replaced for overheating.
Now it wants to jump into gear sometimes and smell emission of smoke.
Not sure what could be wrong? Engine mount.

So do you have a delay bang into gear?What kind of smell do you have burning wires coolant etc?So are you getting a hard shift while its shifting from one gear to the next?

When I put it into Reverse it jumped. Only happened a couple of times. Doesn't when the car is in gear and driving.
White smoke emitting from left side of the hood.
The coolant hose was replaced.

So delay then bang into reverse?Your going to have to see where the smoke is coming from I have no clue I cant see the smoke.
