my car don't start most of the time unless we get a jump and we have changed the battery and the alternator what else could it be?

When it doesn't start, have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire on the starter. There should be 12v present. If there is, chances are the starter is going bad. If there is no power, check the starter relay to see if there is power there.
