Pontiac Grand Am Engine Problem

Iam just wondering if it does any short term or long term damage to the engine and transmission if i often floor it from dead stop at stop signs and red lights? The engine and transmission run perfectly fine, and the fluids are all good.

yes, it will put a lot of stress on all drivetrain components as they are not made for that kind of abuse.
