I have just been told that I possibly could need new heads OR even a new engine for my 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. I currently have a 2.4 Engine in my vehicle however, someone with a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix is selling a GM 3.8 Engine. WOuld it be possible for this engine to be installed in my car...?!...

Thanks for your assistance!

yes, but it would require the entire power train, wiring harness and all computer components. it would be a huge undertaking and very expensive. I would persue fixing your engine first.
