In drive it it did not want to go over 35 mph

At first and then it got up to 50 mph. What could be the problem? I drive an 01 firebird. When I start my car the car/engine shake and makes a rattling noise. When I tried to drive it it did not want to go over 35mph at first and then it got up to 50mph

Have the exhaust system checked for restriction and engine mounts/heat shield
