Why does my car sputter when i start it??
Car always sputters when started, even when warm. Problem only happens for 20-40 seconds, after this the problem goes away.

Check fuel pressure and regulator. It sounds like there is fuel still entering the engine (maybe due to high pressure) after you turn it off. If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned to identify trouble codes.
