Hello, I have a 2001 Nissan Altima. The car does not fire, speed up above 70-80 mph but the rpm goes really high up to 4 at times I am on 40 mph. The vehicle has a slow start especially now in this condition climbing hilly or high gradient roads is difficult.

My mechanic says he has "learned" the engine with diag tool. Checked the throttle something that is located at the top of engine.

The last error was erased/cleared by my mechanic but the problem still persists. When i? Drive the car, it doesn't move as it used to. The engine does not gather speed no matter how I step on Throttle it only raises the rpm but speedometer does not raise accordingly

Sounds like your tranny is slipping or you have a clogged cat.
