Mercury Sable Battery Problem
My car just all of a sudden won't crank, I replaced positive wire from battery to starter but still won't crank. What could it be?

Your story seems to be centered around the positive cable, lets start there. What did the positive cable do? Di it come from the battery to the solenoid?
