I have a Mercedes CLT 320. It has a fault code of P0705 (trans range sensor circuit) malfunction. Where is the circuit located(transmission or console)?

thanks for the information BMRFIXIT! I have a similar error encountered on a friends car way way back. The reason why I was able to remember this error because I had it captured on my mobile device. I cannot really imagine myself living without this technology.
