What can cause cylinders 1, 2, 3 to misfire in my 2001 Mazda Tribute LX?

Rough idle when first starting, sometimes stalls while idleing. Runs fine while driving. Check engine light came on. Codes say cylinders 1, 2, 3 are misfiring. Had new plugs/wires installed couple months ago. Would like to know what could be the problem. Thanks

Start by testing the crankshaft position sensor

Try changing or cleaning the IAC. Or possibly there's a vacuum leak on that bank 1 2 3.
