excess gas in the cylinder head of mazda 626

head was fixed, head gasket was replaced, timing was set accurately, gas is getting in the cylinder head some kind of was even with gas lines unhooked

no injectors are leaking, he said that gas was not running through the injectors when he pulled the fuel rail back up

i dont think it was with the key on, should he try it that way? if the injectors are leaking should i just get a new engine/car or replace the injectors?

If the injectors are leaking, replacing them would do. It is much cheaper and easier than replacing the engine.

If injectors are leaking only with key on, it is not the fault of the injectors. Check the engine computer and its grounding circuits.

You mentioned gas getting to the cylinders with gas lines unhooked, that does not seem right. Please reconfirm.
