Unplug it? No, seriously, marker light or turn signal light?

Marker light: See where the short circuit is.
Turn signal: Check the turn signal flasher assembly/relay by swapping it. IF the problem persists, check the wiring for a short circuit.

I can look up and send wiring diagrams for the lighting circuits if you need me to and think they will help.

This pertains to the left front side marker light in the bumper
The indicator light in the instrument cluster is the light that is still on.
Obviously, this presents no problem, except that it is very irritating to have replaced the burned out bulb and still have the cluster indicator light still on.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Any time a lamp stays lit without being turned on there is a short circuit.
