I have a 2001 Lexus ES 300. The Head Lams appear slightly dim. Is there a brighter replacement bulb I can purchase annd do it myself? HB

There are higher rating bulbs but you need to check if they conform to local regulations.

If the headlight lens looks yellowish, the lights would be dimmer and you have to either replace the headlights or get them refurbished.

Thanks KHLow2008. The headlight lens do not look yellowish at all. How and where do I check for the local regulations? Can you tell me which bulb will be compatible with 2001 Lexus ES-300

You have to check with your local road transport authorities regarding the regulations.

I could not find any information on the specifications of the bulbs on your vehicle. If you have the owner's manual, check if they have the specs there.

The easiest way is to check with your local parts stores, they should be able to help you on this.
