Very strong gas odor

2001 Jeep sport has gas odor after driving and turning off engine. No obvious leaks or drips
any where but strong smell in vicinity of driver door. Hard start that takes 2 or 3 times turning over engine and often must pump pedal. Injectors have new o-rings. Sounds like system has lost gas prime.

Sounds like its running too rich:

1. Fuel pressure not within specs. Can be cause by restricted fuel return line or defective fuel pressure regulator.
2. Defective Oxygen Sensors.
3. Leaking injectors.
4. Coolant temperature sensor out of calibration.
5. Restricted air intake system.
