Can a 97 Rodeo 3.2 engine block Fit a 01 Rodeo 3.2?

Could the short block from the 97 isuzu rodeo be used on the 2001 isuzu rodeo 3.2. I see the intake is different. And somewhere I read that there was a change in horsepower. I hope you can give me the information thank you.
