Qx4 can't reverse
New on this forum, but trilled by the experts advice.
My Car is Infinity QX4 2001 (2WD). Early this week, the gear could not change to low. On Drive (D), it draws and does not pick up as before, though it moves forward but sluggishly. When changed to Reverse (R) it engages but does not move backward. Is this Electronic problem or the Transmission is damaged?

Have you checked the level & condition of the automatic transmission fluid?

Thanks, I have checked the AT Fluid. It is a little above the max mark. The engine oil and filter was replaced two weeks ago. The ATF came with it when I bought it. I bought the car fairly used in October last year with 90,200miles. It is now 101,505miles. It has worked perfectly until this transmission problem. Any other clue pls?

Run a diagnostic scan on the transmission, this will pick up any error codes that may need attention.
