Infiniti i30
I have a 01 infiniti I30 it has a rattling sound coming from underneath when I have my foot on break or its in park. The car does need break pads. Sounds like its coming from underneath car but it sounds like its coming from radio and or gear shifter.

Something is loose and it could be from the exhaust heat shields. Vibration noises are always amplified when engine mounts goes bad. For noise problems the physical vehicle is required for diagnostics so you need to get someone to have a look at it.
