Please help me determine the rusted part (bar) in the image! I have asked several people and no one knows. :(

That is the rear sub frame and in VERY poor condition. It needs replaced or you may have an accident if it breaks. As you can see, it holds most of the suspension and rear control arm assemblies could come disconnected.

These vehicles are know for this problem. In fact, there was a class action suite against Hyundai. I know it covered the 2003 Tiburon, but I don't know about the 01.
