Honda Civic Transmission Problem
2001 honda civic ,had automatic transmission rebuild and was told to drive car for at least 85 miles at no more than 55mph or else i could not have car smogged are this specs true and correct signed david

Automatic tranmissions are difficult to work on and take great expertise. It can never hurt to break in any new components such as cluctches, etc.
If you wnet to a transmission shop, I would trust the information they gave you.
