Honda Civic Stereo Problem
I have an after market stereo installed in my car however, the red security light on the alarm systems is flashing and when you open the trunk the alarm goes off. It just starting doing this even though the stereo was installed years ago. Also, the key fab will not set or disarm the alarm.

Does opening the driver or passenger door with the key result in alarm going off?
Are you able to disarm when key is used to turn ignition on?
