2001 Honda Accord Just Put New Alternator 01 Accord Had Battery Tested Charger

I just put in a new alternator in a 01 Honda Accord. I had the battery tested and charger and it is good. I tried to start the car. Nothing. Negative post on the battery was hot so I disconnected the wires. Checked the fuses under the hood. The fuse for the flashers was toast. I don't know how to check the ones you can't see through. Any ideas? Much appreciated.
