HI I HAVE A 2001 HONDA ACCORD AND DROVE IN A PUDDLE OF WATER TODAY AND THE CAR STARTED SPUTTERING AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STARTED FLASHING. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

the ignition side got wet and the motor started missing. let it dry out and see if it runs ok.

did any water get into the air filter??

Spray wd-40 on all the ignition parts. This will help dry out the. Dist cap and wires. It will displace moisture

Get a scan done to check for trouble codes.

Most likely water got to the crank sensor wire connector and caused the engine to misfire.
