how to change out the tccm on my 2001 gmc jimmy

hello i have bought severial tccm modeuls for my 2001 jimmy that are good but when i plug them in i get nothing no lights on buttons.Do these units need to be programed or what is the problem?

yes they will need to be reprogrammed for your vehicle.

a dealer will have to reprogram it. dealers don tdo anything for free.........
