Ford Taurus Terminal Problem
Car stalled in a flood now its starts with a knocking sound. What could it be?

most likely a failed connecting rod inside the motor.
did you change all the fluids??
water is terminal for a motor from a flood.

not now, the damage is done.
get it checked by a shop to confirm. i would not drive it with water in the crankcase.
