Ford Ka Steering Problem

I have a ford ka 2001 model what i want to know is the shock absorber has come up slighlty and was just wondering if it was the bushes that need replacing on both sides of the car

Do you mean they came up slightly through the strut plate under the hood? Is rust an issue? Any trouble steering or noise when steering?

there is no noise when steering and their is no rust could still be the bushes that need replacing?

I'm not sure what bushings you are referring to other than on the strut itself. take the weight off the front wheels and check for excessive play,

i am reffering to the bushes underneath the body at the front where they join to the body?
