Ford Focus Engine Problem

Every time I order parts for my 2001 Ford Focus Se 2.0L 4L car I get the wrong part! Absolutely every time!! I always have to take the part off the car and take it to the part store {NAPA} and show them what I want. Is there different engines for the 2001 focus or what ? And if so how do I tell what engine I have?

Thanks. Actually just called the dealership where I bought the car. I bought it used and apparently they forgot to inform me that the motor had been replaced with a 2003 motor!! Now I shouldn't have any more ordering problems but I think they should have informed me of that. Thanks again!
