Hot air is not blowing out when I put the heat on. Everything else works properly. Can someone explain to me how the system changeas from AC to Heat. If it is a door, what makes the door move, vaccum or electric? Thanks

It sounds like either the blend door is broke or the blend door motor is bad. It is not controled with vacuum it is done with the motor and the help of the body control module and a/c module. Those usually don't go bad it most often is the blend door clip breaks or the blend door motor. If you have a digital multi meter we can do some testing.
