2001 Dodge Stratus Repair Question

Dodge Stratus Noise Problem
I started my 2001 stratus on a very cold morning, it made a growling noise for about 5 seconds and then idled as normal. When I back out there was a large rusty oily spot on my driveway and small rusty looking spots down the driveway as I back out. I have checked all the fluids and I have inspected all over the engine and I see no sign of leaks etc. What is it?

Hello, I was having the same noise and replaced the timing chain tensioner. This made the noise go away. Good luck
