Slave cylinder replaced but cant bring the clutch back up after bleeding. Is there a sequence of bleeding that we are missing

The pedal is spring loaded to bring pedal back up, only if the height is at a certain level so while bleeding you need to manually lift the pedal until the system is bled of air then it would work normally.
