Not sure if I need a ignition coil replaced.

I have a 2001 Chrysler 300M and I would like to know what are some of the tell-tell signs of having to replace a cop ignition coil on that car? Also would it give me a short circuit on some power options on the driver's side? Like the heated seat, the digital mileage read out under the speedometer & the park lights from coming on?

The coil will not affect any of the items you mentioned. Usually, a coil will just short and stop working (No spark to plugs). However, they can get weak and provide a weak spark to the plugs that will usually be orange or white in color. You want the spark to be a good hot blue spark.
