2001 Chevrolet Tahoe Heat Blowing Rear Only Cold Air Front Out Defrost Possible

I have heat blowing from the rear of my Tahoe but only have cold air blowing in the front and out of the defrost. Possible cause(s)? also wondering if the in cab filter can have anything to do with not having heat for the front part of the vehicle?
