why would new cooling fan relays cause a check engine light to come on when the new relays are working the fans? I just had 3 relays replaced for the cooling fans because the fans were not working. When installed..fans worked but then a check engine light came on. Was run on a coding machine and says relay 2 malfunction..but it is working fans. What do I need to do now? How can I get this check engine light to clear?
