WHEN I START MY CAR THERE IS A LOUD KNOCKING, IT SEEMS TO LIGHTEN UP A LITTLE AFTER THE ENGINE WARMS UP, BUT CONTINUES THE ENTIRE TIME I AM DRIVING. COULD THIS BE CAUSED BY A FAULTY FUEL INJECTOR?

2001 Chevrolet Malibu • 220,000 miles

I had the codes ran a few weeks ago and there were 4 codes that came up. 1- bad injector #2
2- faulty spark plugs (which have been changed since)
3- EGR valve
4- O2 sensor
Also, While my car is idling the smell of sulfur is overwhelming, is this caused by one of the above codes, and what can I do to fix it?

I am trying to figure out what would cause the loud knocking, and if I have more of a problem than what I think?

Thank you in advance!

Check your oil is the noise high or low?

Just had a oil change a month ago, and the knocking is high, like something is loose, not a ticking though.
