The temp gauge the AC quit working the cheack engine lights on whats wrong?

01 chevy impala my temp gauge and ac is not working and when u shut the car off the fans keep running and now the cheack engine light is on if have already replaced the temp sensor what else could be wrong with it please help?

Get a scan to retrieve the trouble code for the MIL indicating. Most parts stores provides free scanning services.

You could have a loose wire connection at the ECT/gauge sending unit.

As the other reply states; get the codes retrieved and post what they are- these items are all controlled by the PCM, and the a/c and ECT plugs are next to each other in the PCM connector. This could simply be 2 wires shorted together causing your issues. If I can be of further help- Please let me know. Doc
