2001 Chevrolet Blazer Repair Question

Chevrolet Blazer Horn Problem
All of a sudden our horn went off on the blazer tried to disconnect the battery for 10 min. to reset.( our freind said to try.) but it didn't work now if you put your foot on the brake it stopped, so the only solution was to disconnect it. It's a sat. and no one is open any suggestions would be appreciated. Becky

10 minutes??? that re sets nothing.
you need to check the horn pad as it may be your issue.

Check for a bad ground the horn could have a loose wire that is grounding out somewhere
