2001 BMW X5 Repair Question

Heater blower won't go off.
While the heater was operating, The digital display began flickering then went blank. The heater now remains on even when the key is off and out. I replaced the final stage module, but the motor continues to run as soon as I reinstall the fuse (with the key out). The digital display still is blank. Any other ideas besides replacing the final stage?

Have the final stage unit checked out-

Ianradcliffe, did you get this figured out? If not, do any of the other accessories work without the key?

Yes. Fixed. The final stage was fine all along. The problem was the climate control computer. Bought a used one on eBay for $150. Works like a charm.
