Is it a 330xi? Tell me a story too, just asking "will it make the tranny fail?" is not complete.

I had most of the front end repaired control arms, front driver and passanger axle assembly, drove aprox 120 miles on wed. and less than 1/4 mile on thursday. while driving at about 25mph I herd a huge bang almost as if someone had run into me and the wheels were locked up, engine was running fine could move the gear shift, could not move the car at all.

And what was the reason for the above mentioned repairs? Driving 120 miles certainly does not mean the repairs were perfect and complete in every way, but if there were an issue with the axles, it would have shown up in that time frame most certainly.
