Lots of miles and car has run great up until now. Belts have been squealing for about 6 months in morning when started or when I turn on ac. Notice that car has been idling really slow and quiet as if to want to shut off. Yesterday started hearing a tapping noise as I was driving. Noise got louder and started to lose power. Was luck to make it home although car never cut off. Can hear knocking or tapping noise when I turn on engine now. What do you think this is? Thanks.

Oil? Level? When did you change it last?

Just three thousands miles ago its overdo by a couple hundred miles. Checked the oil and it looks fine in terms of color.
