Suzuki Esteem Shifter Problem
My wife drives and esteem gl wagon 1.8 automatic console shifter when she puts on brake pedal to release shifter to put car in gear she hears a thumping sound in console need a diagram and what part may be wrong in console thanks george

check engine and trans mounts first. ther eis a cable that goes between console and trans so it may be something under the car hitting the floor and sounding like it's coming from console.
