fuel pump or sensor

2000 pontiac grand am...started surging at stop lights like I was giving it gas...put sea foam in it and it stopped...then stalled when slowing or stopping...now won't start

If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you use a gage and check fuel pressure. Also, clean the throttle-body and idle air control. Any applicable trouble codes? Do you have spark at the plugs?
