Key fob stopped working, replaced battery, still not working. Car wouldn't start so called the breakdown they came out and said it was my immobliser stuck because of my key fob. Battery now flat and no fuel. Got a new key fob and peugeot say they have coded it to my car but won't open doors. Now car eventually starts but mis firing. Also while breakdown towed it home they whacked the bottom on a speed bump and broke my sump this is now fixed.

It is the immobliser. The bad news is a dealer is the only place that has the proper test equipment to check it. You could try disconnecting the car battery to see if will reset. If it doesn't, a dealer is my recommendation.

It is in Peugeot and they still don't know what the problem is. They have tried a new Coil pack, and that did not work. They are now looking at wiring but have mentioned it could be my ecu. All they have told me is that it has come up with 3 error codes but I don't know what they are.
