2000 Opel Corsa Repair Question

Engine over heat just after 3 km and after 20km engine cutt off
Temperature needle goes above 95 just after 3km and engine cutt of at 20km.wait for 30min to cool and to start engine.but at night the car goes normal .please help

could be a bad thermostat but from overheating, i would have the leak down test done to verify you have not blown head gasket

can i replace head gaskit and thermostat of opel astra 1996 model mine corsa of 2000 model.and also the suspension because astra is at scrap.thanks

dont have any books to verify change overs and comparisions. sorry.
can you check at a junkyard or dealers if the blocks are the same??
