For my 2000 Oldsmobile Alero what adhesive can I use to hold my driver side door handle into the door? The whole thing comes out and goes sideways but the handle and the keylock work just fine. I got hit and run while I was parked by a church on christmas eve. Haven't been able to get the dent out myself. Will any work? The dent is in the middle of the driver door a decent way in. Enough that I can't roll my window down past 3/4s or its blocked by the dent.

You would likely have to remove inside door panel to access dent to pound it out so window will work. While you have door apart replace door handle. Not likely any glue would hold up to use. The only possible kind would be an epoxy putty.

DOOR TRIM PANEL
Disconnect negative battery cable.
Remove front door warning reflector and screw inside reflector opening.
Use flat-blade tool to remove rear deck release bezel, and disconnect deck release switch.
Remove lower switch bezel screws and lower switch bezel.
Push door switch bezel upward with flat-blade tool, and disconnect door switch connectors.
Gently disengage door trim retaining clips and remove trim panel.
Remove water deflector enough to access IN.
