Nissan Frontier Battery Problem

Hey there,
I went to start my car yesterday and I put my keys in and turned it to ON where the dash lights and what not come on. Well as soon as I tried to start the engine, everything dropped. No clicking noise, no lights, no engine start. Now even when I try to get the lights to come on, nothing happens. Please Help :)

check the battery cable connections at the battery. the battery itself may be dead. have it along with the alternator checked
